Dance to the beat of the Drum! workshop for kids/adults

Save the Date! Registration will open soon ! This will be a very special opportunity to finish the year with high vibrations and set the tone for growth and celebration in the new year. This workshop will offer two classes for kids (ages 7-14) and two classes for adults and older teens, then we will all come together as one to finish up and celebrate our learning. This is a great training opportunity for dancers of all ages to expand movement capabilities and dance knowledge!

-DANCELINE MASHUP and Traditional West African Dance with Kara Mack

Take a trip through the African Diaspora with Kara Mack, Grammy choreographer and star dancer based in L.A. This innovative class features Kara’s signature Danceline style, inspired by the marching band culture of South Carolina, African and Caribbean Dance. Live marching band drums fuse with rousing djembe rhythms in a rare dance experience that will move you from the soul. She will also teach traditional West African dance which mostly features the musical dance styles from the Mandingue ethnic group.
