The African-American Alumni Chapter and I’m An Aztec Alumni Group are both working diligently to ensure that we have a highly organized and unified schedule of events planned for you this year. Whether it is the Afrikan Student Union, National Panhellenic, Aztec Athletic Department, NSBE, or any other Campus or Social Organization, we want to see you there to ensure we are connected with one another in a unified front! SDSU 2018 AFRICAN AMERICAN ALUMNI CHAPTER AND I’M AN AZTEC ALUMNI GROUP HOMECOMING REUNION – PROPOSED SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY 10/19

1pm – 5pm (Hilton San Diego Mission Valley)

Poolside Social / Hotel Check-in: Check in at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley, 901 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego. Then meet us at the poolside. Call to see if discounted group rates are still available (855-479-0732). Hosts: SDSU African American Alumni Chapter and I’m An Aztec Alumni Group.

5pm – 5:45pm (SDSU Campus)

Campus Tour: Meet the SDSU Ambassador Tour Guides in front of Starbucks on the campus of SDSU.

7pm – 10pm (SDSU Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Center)

NPHC Yard Show: The National Panhellenic Council commemorates the history of African stepping with Black Greek-Letter Organizations. Held at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union steps at SDSU.

10pm – 12am (Eureka!)

Let’s Chill Mixer: After the yard show, let’s meet up at Eureka! 5140 College Avenue Suite 111, San Diego, to catch up!

SATURDAY 10/20

9am (Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union)

SDSU homecoming 5K: It all starts at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union Goldberg Courtyard. Kick off Homecoming Game Day with a morning run through the SDSU campus beside Fellow Students, Alumni, Staff, Faculty, and Friends! Register Here. Cost is free.

9:30am (Hash House)

Breakfast: Hosted by I’M AN AZTEC, at Hash House located at 3628 5th Avenue, San Diego.

10am (SDSU Black Resource Center)

Sankofa Celebration and Networking: Join the African American Alumni Chapter at the SDSU Black Resource Center as we partner with the African Student Union to honor those that have paved the way. Student leaders will share a state of a black student address free giveaways and appetizers will be provided. Meet and greet start it’s at 9:30 a.m. Suggested attire, business casual or SDSU gear.

4pm (SDCCU Stadium)

Tailgate Turn Up: Meet us at the Stadium, 9449 Friars Road, San Diego. All organizations will be in section G2 so you get a chance to meet up with all your homies and have a blast from the past! Bring Sports chairs, blankets, jackets, drinks water, food, games, snacks, tents, Etc.

7:30pm (SDCCU Stadium)

Homecoming Game: SDSU Aztecs versus San Jose State, Click Here For Discounted Alumni Tickets. Let’s root our Aztecs to Victory!!!.

African American Alumni Chapter: Aztecs Cool Out, Without a Doubt! Meet the AAAC at Dave & Buster’s, 2931 Camino Del Rio North, San Diego for more postgame fellowship!

SUNDAY 10/21

8am (“Son”Rise Service, Hilton, Mission Valley)

African American Alumni Chapter: Rise and Shine for a moment of praise and worship at the Hilton in the quad area by the pool on the second floor.

9am (Breakfast/Brunch, Two Choices)

African American Alumni Chapter: Soul food send off breakfast/brunch at 9 a.m. “It’s so hard to say goodbye”, so come out with the AAAC to make final soul-food connections, before hitting the road to head home – Location: Sucker Free Southern Plate and Bar, 751, Fourth Ave, Suite 6934, San Diego.

*$25, Per Person: Includes Five Meal Choices, With Non Alcoholic Beverages – Tip is Included)
