Sexual Healing Workshop & Support Group (Pt.1)

This workshop is for women and men who need a SAFE SPACE & SUPPORT to heal from their experiences with sexual abuse. We understand that it can be uncomfortable, even terrifying to face our past experiences with sexual abuse. We are here to support you through that fear, anxiety, discomfort, sadness, anger, and anything else that comes up as you take this incredibly brave step toward your healing. The deep sense of relief from release, the empowerment from your courageousness, and the love from supportive peers can bring so much hope and healing that can change our lives in beautiful ways.

Our main objective in this workshop series is to clear the energetic and psychological imprint that sexual trauma may have left on us that affects who we are and how we function in the world. It is so important and necessary that we reclaim our power over our sexuality and over our lives now and for generations to come, so that we may operate from a place of healing rather than a place of hurt. Within this safe space, you will have the option to share your experiences and insights openly, write them in your journal or simply listen and work through things internally. This is a judgment-free zone, and a space full of love and healing energy.

In Session 1 we will be:
– Identifying where we are now, in terms of our coping mechanisms. How have we been dealing with our pain?
– Identifying new ways we can nurture ourselves and heal our pain
– Gently recalling our experiences with sexual abuse
– Defining “trauma” and identifying our triggers
– Practicing new ways to respond to triggers
– Identifying our strengths
– Identifying our support team
– Beginning the process of “cord-cutting” (cutting energetic ties from our abuser)
– Leading a group meditation
– Leading a spiritual cleansing ritual
