“You Have to Taste a Culture to Understand It”

Just in time for Mardi Gras, the Communal Table is taking our tastebuds south to Pamela’s Kitchen Table! There we will feast on a delicious 4 course spread, sip on bayou cocktails, and explore the history, culture, and people of Louisiana and the south with owner and Head Chef Pamela Jones.

Chef Pam fuses Southern and Cajun cuisine, with influences from the south’s best home chefs. Many thanks to Chef Pam for opening the doors to her new location exclusively to us before the restaurant’s grand opening!!

Your ticket includes a 4 course, family style meal, wine, a bayou cocktail, and an in depth culinary journey led by Chef Pam. Tickets are extremely limited and the table will fill up quick! So come with a friend or come alone but make sure you grab your seat at the Communal Table!

The exact event location will only be released to ticket holders. Thank you to our sponsor San Diego Melanin.

FAQs

What is The Communal Table?

The Communal Table is a dinner series hosted by Culture + Cuisine where we curate an exclusive dinning expereince fusing food, fun, and learning. Our goal is to unite people through food and expose them to new cultures. We invite the community to join us at a local restaurant where the head chef takes us on a culinary journey through the food of their hometown and a cultural exploration of the people and cultures that inspired and influence that cuisine.

Who is The Communal Table For?

The Communal Table is for You! We welcome friends of every age, every race, and every creed to join us for a family style meal and an enriching exploration into different cultures and foods. We ask that you bring a valid ID and an open mind. You will eat and fellowship with people you’ve never met before. You will get the best expereince if you are open to new people and new expereinces.
