RANCHO BERNARDO DISTRIBUTION CENTER – WAREHO– USE ASSOCIATE
Jerome’s distribution center is 400,00 square feet, and services all locations. The Distribution Center is a 24-hour operation handling all inventory, shipping, deliveries, quality control and returns.
We are looking for outgoing candidates who are pleasant to work with and possess a genuine enthusiasm and passion for customer service. In return, you’ll be treated with respect, support and given training which will help set you on the right track to an unbelievable career path.
Warehouse Associate job duties include but are not limited to:
- Loading product for deliveries
- Shipping and receiving
- Quality control
- Assembly
- Inspections
- Furniture repair
- Picking stock for deliveries
- Returning stock to bin locations
- Assist guests with loading merchandise into their vehicles
- Jerome’s will train you on Crown stock pickers

CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE – DELIVERY SUPPORT
Jerome’s Call Center provides support and the highest level of customer service to our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to all callers.
- Computer skills – Assist customers with delivery time frames and current delivery status.
- Inform customers of delivery updates regarding driver’s route, of any delays and make call-aheads as needed.
- Confirm delivery with customers to assure delivery of goods has been made to their satisfaction. Provide delivery support to the drivers.
- Respond to all emails; includes internal emails, shorts, customer emails or any other emails to delivery support
- Answer all incoming calls from all queues – Delivery progress, outcome, comments- check throughout the day. Review for discrepancies.
- Respond to all code change request emails – Inspections on merchandise (going in/out).
- Snapshot code check (delivery) – Returns merchandise – Follow-ups (external/internal).
PAY: $13.50-$15.00/hr depending on experience

DELIVERY AND INSTALL DRIVER – DELIVERY ASSISTANT
To deliver and assemble all assigned customer orders in accordance with the Distribution Center’s operations.
PAY: Delivery Driver $17.00/hr plus performance-based bonuses
Delivery Assistant $15.00/hr plus performance-based bonuses
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load delivery vehicle with all required pieces scheduled to specific delivery route
- Deliver all customer orders in a timely and safe manner
- Assemble furniture upon delivery to customer’s home
- Professional communication with customers and the call center at the completion of the delivery
- Advise call center of any missing or damaged pieces upon delivery
- Report any accidents on the road, or damage to customer’s property immediately
- Unload any undeliverable pieces at the distribution center
- Assist in general distribution duties as needed
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles, reporting any malfunctions immediately
- Abide all speed limits, traffic laws and safety rules at all times

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At the minimum, must be 21 years of age
- Valid California driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments
- Two years DMV/MVR record with two or less moving violations
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule and at the specific work location
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening
- The schedule will include working weekends and holidays
