Wakanda Experience 2019 @ 6134 Timothy Winters Drive San Diego, CA 92114.
Aug 17 @ 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Better than before
Consultants Unlimited is very excited to invite you to our 2nd annual Wakanda Experience. This is a tradition of bringing the community together and honoring the work of the community’s organizations and leaders.

THE WAKANDA EXPERIENCE 2019, will be held August 17th from 5:00 PM -10:00 PM at the Bayview Baptist Church MLK Building located at 6134 Timothy Winters Drive San Diego, CA 92114.

Our first WAKANDA EXPERIENCE evening was truly what we had anticipated:

A blockbuster Hollywood premier, complete with a red carpet, stars dressed in fabulous African attire, flashing lights, photo opportunities, a birthday party celebrating President Obama, surprise gifts, and more!

The more than 350 people in attendance were unanimous in their appreciation for the great opportunity to get together, to celebrate one another, to enjoy the spirit of royalty and unity, and to purchase African inspired items from beautiful displays by African American vendors.

This year’s event will also be a powerful evening celebrating the unique abilities and contributions of every generation to our Black community (churches, organizations, families). The event will be a place where people can come and make lasting connections – not only to other attendees, but to the community at large; a place where we can learn about our sisters and brothers and celebrate what it means to be Black – culturally, personally, professionally, and expressively. This year everyone who attends will receive a 2020 commemorative calendar!

Pat Murray, retired educator and Executive Director of Consultants Unlimited, along with other community activists are inviting the community (churches, organizations, families) to celebrate and participate in The Wakanda Experience with ERRRVERYBODi.

The goal for the event is to:

– Share in the spirit of empowerment and unity that has been inspired in our community.

– Welcome other cultures to also join in this movement of unity.

– Celebrate by dressing in your traditional cultural attire.

Your group can participate in a number of ways to make this memorable event a resounding success:

• Purchase an ad in our program book

• Become a Gold table sponsor

• Purchase a table of ten
