Looking for job opportunities or a new career path? MTS is hosting two hiring events where applicants will be interviewed and potentially hired on the spot! You must RSVP below prior to attending. See information below.

We will be interviewing for the following positions:

Student Bus Operators*
Bus Cleaner (Servicer A)*
Construction Safety Flagperson
DATES:

Monday, November 15th – 1pm – 3pm
Wednesday, November 17th – 10am – 12pm

LOCATION: MTS Administration Building in Downtown: 1255 Imperial Avenue, Suite 900, San Diego, CA 92101. Please check in with security and you will be directed to the 9th floor.

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION: The MTS Building is served by all three Trolley lines and multiple bus routes. Use the Trip Planner tool to plan your trip, and get PRONTO for your transit fare (one-way fare valid for two-hours). Parking is also available in the 5-story covered structure next to our building. Parking is $0.75 per 30 minutes. (MTS is unable to validate parking.)

Driver Record – To be considered for the Student Bus Operator and Bus Cleaner roles, you must submit your California Driving Record. Driving Records can be obtained at the DMV’s Website (CLICK HERE) for $2 or by going to any California DMV and requesting a Driving Record in person for $5. Please bring the copy with you to your interview or email it to jobs@sdmts.com.

If you choose NOT to wear a mask, MTS requires candidates to provide proof of vaccination. Proof of vaccination can be provided to the Human Resources Receptionist when you check-in for your interview. Volunteers Wanted!

Garden Refresh 2 at the Mt. Hope Community Garden! Once again, we’re teaming up with Love, Tito’s and Studio Nectary to revamp and refresh the Mt. Hope Community Garden on October 22nd & 23rd, 2021.

This two-day event will be taking place on October 22nd & 23rd, 2021 at the Mt. Hope Community Garden (4261 Market St., San Diego 92102). Both days will be split into two shifts: 9am to 12pm, and 1pm to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12pm to 1pm. Lunch, snacks, and beverages will be provided to all volunteers.

Due to COVID precautions, we will be limiting the number of volunteers to 40 per shift so please make sure you register in advance.
