Jacobs Presents brings you “FALL INTO ARTS: FILM SERIES” – a series of FREE and family-friendly movie nights!
On Sunday, September 1 at 7:30 p.m. we will be showing the all-new AMAZING GRACE documentary at Market Creek Plaza Amphitheater!
However, you’ll want to come early! At 7:00 p.m., enjoy a live performance of Aretha Franklin classics performed by San Diego artists Eddie B and Voices and Daneen Wilburn.
About the film: For two nights in January of 1972, Aretha Franklin recorded her “Amazing Grace” gospel album in the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles. In this documentary, the viewer sees the details of the recording which was accompanied by Reverend James Cleveland (also a musical artist), local musicians, choir singers and a live congregation audience.
