The top issues I see facing the black community in San Diego are systemic & institutional racism, housing crisis/homelessness, and overall lack of economic opportunities.

Prison cycle & lack of opportunity for those after being incarcerated, lack of quality transit to get folks connected to jobs, low home-ownership, improved education that focuses on career opportunities and not just going to college, lack of Black leaders in elected office, lack of entrepreneur programs, lack of capital for startup businesses.
