Our company was started as one of our founders is a process architect for one of the largest consulting firms in the world. While looking for sea salt hair sprays for dreadlocks he noticed 2 things: 1) no product existed in this space designed for dreadlocks and 2) no company used pure ocean water in their sea salt sprays. This seemed to be a void in the market. Living in Oceanside, CA we can attest that the best sea salt comes straight from the ocean. So, we designed a process to give pure ocean water to consumers in hair spray products that is free from any bacteria, yeasts, or fungus. We put a patent on our process and had it chemically tested by the same lab that tests for Unilever products (Dove, Suave, Axe, etc.). We believe in all natural pure products on the coast, and feel as though there is a plethora of people that can enjoy these same benefits of the beach, regardless of where they live.
