Join us for this free training for nonprofits organizations, foundations, and individuals who seek to advocate and influence public policy for social change.

For over forty years, Alliance for Justice (AFJ)has protected and advanced the role of nonprofits and foundations in shaping policy through effective lobby training.

At this training by Alliance for Justice, we’ll cover the following topics:
1) Record keeping and Reporting for 501(c)(3) Organizations that Lobby—Proper record keeping skills are critical for meeting filing obligations, strategic planning, fundraising purposes, and for basic organizational management and governance.
2) Nonpartisan Advocacy in Partisan Times—Highlighting some common pitfalls while also providing suggestions on how to avoid partisan advocacy.
3) Seize the Initiative: Nonprofit Organizations and Ballot Measure Campaigns—Understanding the laws that govern nonprofit organizations’ participation in initiatives and referenda.
