Assembly District 79 ELECTIONS
When: Saturday, January 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Neighborhoods included: Bonita, Chula Vista, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, National City, College Area, Encanto, Linda Vista, Mission Valley, Paradise Hills,
AD Delegates to the Democratic State Central Committee (DSCC) are responsible for planning and attending informational meetings throughout the region and working with other DSCC delegates throughout California to represent their community.
AD Delegates are elected by voters (to participate in the ADEM you MUST be a registered Democrat in that Assembly District).
AD Delegates vote on behalf of the community they represent at CDP Regional Meetings, the California Democratic Party Convention, and those who are also elected to serve as an Executive Board member are responsible for voting and representing their community at the semi-annual E-Board meetings.
Our Choice
WHO CAN VOTE?
A person may participate (attend and vote) in the ADEM if he or she is a Democrat residing and registered to vote in the Assembly District as of the date of the meeting. Same-day voter registration is allowed of otherwise qualified citizens.
At each meeting, candidates may give one-minute speeches 30 minutes prior to registration. After registration opens, participants will vote by secret ballot and can then leave at any time. Registration will close two hours after opening, then votes will be tallied and the results announced.
This is your chance to elect grassroots leaders who will help set the agenda for California’s majority party — and set a strong example for the rest of the country. Please be sure to vote and spread the word to fellow Democrats!
