AGB Campaign Kickoff @ Bread & Salt
Mar 17 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Come Out & Kick It With Us At Our Campaign Kick Off!

Meet & Greet, Food, Fun and Raising Funds.

We will have amazing guest speakers, spend time with Aeiramique and the opportunity to meet the team and join our movement for a better America,

An America where everyone is heard and represented. I will be a voice for our suppressed communities, I will be a champion for our workers, I will radically challenge the status quo because for so many of us the same old, same old isn’t cutting it. I’m running for the single mothers and fathers, the immigrants searching for a better life, the veterans who deserve dignity from our government, this campaign is a movement for the people and I would be honored to have your support.

October Meeting with hoMEwork @ San Diego Labor Democratic Club
Sep 25 @ 6:47 am – 7:47 am

We will also hear from representatives from hoMEwork, a program designed to introduce formerly incarcerated women and men to careers in the building trades. hoMEwork outreach includes monthly dinners as a forum to hear from the trades and create associations with the leaders.

hoMEwork also offers a weekly life skills class, designed to ensure these women and men have the needed skills to deal with inherent adversity that come with being back in the free world, including how to handle issues that will arise in a job site.

For more on hoMEwork, see this interview with KUSI from earlier this year: https://www.kusi.com/program-helps-those-with-felony-convictions-find-jobs/

All visitors are welcome, but if you need to join our club, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/bNv6LNnV74VxeNtf7 and pay or renew dues via Venmo (sdlabordemclub) or Paypal at sdlabordemclub@gmail.com. Dues are $10 per year.

Amanda Edwards for U.S. Senate Fundraiser
Dec 13 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Please join me and my distinguished co-hosts on December 13th for a fundraiser in support of Amanda Edwards and her campaign for U.S Senate.

It’s not every day that you see a group of San Diego leaders and community members supporting a candidate in another state, but Councilwoman Edwards is the real deal.

If elected, she will be the first Black woman ever to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.

Edwards brings an impressive platform to the table. She is committed to seeking bold progressive change on behalf of the people of Texas and the entire nation. She is passionate about lifting up underserved and underrepresented communities and ensuring equity in all areas, like healthcare, education, and the economy.

Most importantly, Edwards understands that the Movement is greater than any one person. She also knows that elected seats – from the top down – don’t belong to politicians but to the People.

I hope you’ll join us in support of her candidacy by coming out on the 13th and participating in this community-led event.

RSVP and/or make a donation here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/dec13san

ADDRESS: 3315 2nd Ave San Diego, Ca.92103-5611

This holiday party will be a hybrid party, of sorts. You all know I am running for Congress, so, I will be chatting up my political aspirations throughout the day. You would be doing me a BIG FAVOR if you’d invite a friend of yours, of voting age, allowing them to learn about my candidacy. We’ll still be eating food and playing music and making new friends throughout the day, so, don’t worry about me talking your ears off!! 🙂
