“She Is Soul” is a coalition of young women whom were born and raised in San Diego who stay current with social issues and have come together to host events throughout San Diego that unite
social activism with music and art. It is our way of reaching out and engaging the younger generation by using music and art as tools for activism. This coalition strives to contribute to the
culture of San Diego by educating the community about social issues in a way that is entertaining,
engaging, and rejuvenating. She Is Soul plans to present an annual event adapted to the needs of
our community, while its members maintain a positive image of the community through our own
individual outreach and overall character.
