Show your support in court – it’s not a crime to be homeless! @ San Diego Courthouse
Sep 26 @ 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm

This is the first settlement conference in the ongoing class action, constitutional lawsuit against the City of San Diego for its criminalization of homelessness. The City is citing and arresting people who are homeless every time they set their belongings down on public property–in violation of the Constitution.

This is the first time the parties will appear before the judge to discuss possible settlement of the case. Come support the lawsuit by sitting in court before the settement conference starts to show how many people care deeply about this issue and want to see it resolved!

Fight Back PowerHour @ City Heights Performing Annex
Oct 10 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

On October 10, the Supreme Court of the United States will be hearing two cases about the Muslim and refugee bans, Trump v. Int’l Refugee Assistance Project and Trump v. Hawaii.

The executive orders from the Trump Administration temporarily bans travel from six Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen) and suspends the refugee admissions process.

The Muslim and refugee bans are discriminatory, unconstitutional and inhumane in the same vein as the Chinese Exclusion Act, the Japanese American incarceration, and special registration after 9/11.

We must remember history and mobilize against any targeting of our communities.

Join us in declaring #NoMuslimBanEver on October 10 and stand in community with our Muslim, newcomer, and immigrants brothers and sisters.
