As the first and largest black film festival of the year, numerous film festival reps scout new films from us for their event. Simply put, each year the San Diego Black Film Festival will premiere a large percentage of the films that will prove successful throughout the year at other film festivals.
Our goal is to be the leader in facilitating the production of film, television and commercials in the San Diego area. An additional goal is to be a leader in African American & African Diaspora Cinema and arts.

4th Annual San Diego Veg Fest!
The event for Southern California’s animal lovers, health conscious hipsters, and forward-thinking folks continues as a downtown, San Diego celebration of plant-based foods, empowering music, specialized speakers, and interactive activities for all ages! Join us for a day of compassionate, veg-friendly fun!
This year also includes a vegetarian and vegan-focused night market and live entertainment program. The veg-night market is a unique take on the traditional tent-style setting, but with healthy foods made from plant-based oils and plant-based sources.
Informative sessions feature speakers traveling from many parts of the West Coast and even the Midwest to share expert tips on plant-based living. See you there!
