Dismantling White Supremacy Teach-In @ First Unitarian Universalist Church

Rev. Kathleen Owens will offer a Dismantling White Supremacy Teach-In on Sundays, October 1, 1 pm -3 pm and again on November 19, 1 pm-3 pm. Both will build on the Teach-In from May 7. All are welcome.
Also, for white people doing the work of racial justice, Rev. Kathleen will host a group that will focus on support and encouragement to remain steadfast in the work. This group will meet on the third Saturday of each month, beginning September 16, 1 pm to 3 pm.

Hip Hop Master Class w/Jay Chris Moore @ The Origin Hip Hop Performing Arts Academy

Jay Chris Moore is a Teacher, Director and Choreographer born and raised in the “City of Angels”. With his roots as a street dancer, Jay has formulated his style of “lyrical hip hop” based of of the fundamentals of hip hop and freestyle.

With 17 yrs of experience in the dance community as a director and dancer. Currently represented by MSA, Jay has also worked with artists such as Usher, Black Eyed Peas, Missy Elliot, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, E40 and LMFAO. He has choreographed for acts on Americas Got Talent and Live To Dance, as well as directs his own professional dance company called The MOB including Academy of Swag, Hoodlumz, Goon Squad, Hitmen, and Lost Boyz. .

Jay’s community history includes GRV, Culture Shock LoWith 17 yrs of experience in the dance community as a director and dancer.
