Our tentative schedule subject to change is as follows:
**** 1:00 to 2:00 – Meet at the fountain by the Ruben H. Fleet Museum. Guest speakers will share their knowledge about Monsanto, GMOs, and much more. We are asking children to participate by dressing as bees for our bee die-in skit.
**** 2:00 to 3:00 – March from fountain – Route to be determined. Stay tuned, as we will update you regarding the location and route.
**** 3:00 to 5:00 – Liquid Blue will perform and conclude at the World Beat Center. Keep connected with planning, educating and informing others in communities.
WHAT TO BRING:
Water – We will be marching, so please keep hydrated.
Banners/Signs – Do you have a message you’d like heard? Paint/draw it on a banner/sign and bring it!
Sunscreen and/or hats – Stay protected from the sun.
REQUEST: We are also asking everyone to wear RED shirts as a form of solidarity support towards this action.
NOTE: What NOT to bring: Weapons of any kind – Remember, this is a PEACEFUL protest and we wish to keep it that way.

This year marks the 37th Annual Awards & Scholarship Dinner. We are excited for you to join us for the dinner, themed “Celebration of Women: The evolution of our leadership,” which is a nod to the hard work and success of the Earl B. Gilliam Bar’s many members who have served and gone on to tremendous success in law and in life. This year’s dinner will continue in the tradition of awarding scholarships to our youth and will honor the organization’s past as we look to expand our commitment to each other and our community in the future.

Black Women’s Blueprint, Trans Sistas of Color Project, Black Youth Project 100, and allied state anti-violence coalitions – have signed on to organize and support the March for Black Women (#M4BW) happening on September 30th in Washington D.C.
In solidarity, Black women are coming together in San Diego in-person and use the #M4BW #M4BWSD #BLMSD for the Black Women’s Town Hall to build power and community.

Is this Town Hall exclusively for Black Women? YES! The Black Women’s Town Hall Event is being organized by and held exclusively for Black Women. However, all are welcome to attend the March for Black Women (#M4BW) in Washington D.C. on September 30th. There are also support roles and tasks that allies to Black Women can help out with. Reach out if you’d like to support this event in some way
Help us bring true representation to District 4. Come support the AAPI Democratic Club’s endorsed candidate, Monica Montgomery on Sunday, October 7 from 2:00-5:00pm. We will be canvassing and phone banking the district to talk to AAPI voters. If we don’t walk, we don’t win. Join us!
