Summertime means…IT’S PARTY TIME!!

Body BootCamp offers a new way to get into the best shape of your life, and have fun while doing it! Bring the entire family! We meet near the basketball courts.

The goal of the fitness boot camp is to provide a whole-body workout that builds strength and endurance while teaching the importance of healthy eating and living. Working together to encourage healthy living in the black community.

A guest fitness professional will be featured once a month.
All levels of fitness are welcomed to attend.

House of Restoration is Non-Profit 501.c3 agency that focuses on providing comprehensive services to Teen Mothers, ages 12-25 and Former Teen Prostitutes. House Of Restoration strives to support the Reunification of Parents and Children while removing Barriers to become self sufficient and become economically independent. Since 2011 Hofrcc has been providing referral services for At Risk Teen Mothers such as: Transitional Housing, Domestic Violence Safe House Placements and Food distribution agencies.

This year will be joining 805 South’s “Faces With Purpose” Event! 805 South has been a fixture in the San Diego County for the past 20 years. 805 South specializes in educating Youth At Risk about Drug Prevention, and Gang Violence. We also provide One on One Mentor-ship for teens throughout San Diego County and surrounding areas.

A famous pro football star lost connection with his family. His mother helps bring him back to his family roots and his first love.

Synopsis:

Lisa Colons and Jonas Johnson were high school and college sweethearts until a diabolical lie Jay’s best friend told broke them up. Jonas and Lisa went their separate ways and were successful. Several years pass by. Lisa, a successful high profile attorney, and Jonas a pro football player. Although they were successful in their careers, they both were unlucky in love.

Jay’s mother, Mom Johnson, sees her birthday and the holidays as a perfect opportunity to bring the two back together. She invites Lisa and Jay to her 50th birthday bash. Lisa and Jay didn’t have a clue they were being set up for the biggest surprise of their lives.

In the meantime Dad Johnson decides to play the matchmaker as well by inviting his best friend Charlie to seduce Barbara, his live-in sister-in-law. He despises her and wants her out of his house, but will his plan backfire?

It’s the day of the party and all hell breaks loose. Secrets are unveiled, hearts are broken, lessons learned, but most of all we learn we can never underestimate the power of love.
